My name is Ashley Haek. I am the Communications Coordinator at The Future of Free Speech, an independent, nonpartisan think tank at Vanderbilt University.

A storyteller, advocate, and professional tray-juggler.

I’m a recent graduate of Boston University, where I earned my Journalism degree and developed a passion for defending free speech and promoting transparency in governance. My academic experiences and work as a full-time server have shaped my commitment to connecting people and ideas through storytelling, advocacy, or service.

Since graduating, I’ve worked as a Communications Coordinator, managing social media campaigns, website updates, and promotional content focused on clarity and creativity. In addition to championing free speech, you’ll often find me still serving in downtown Nashville, writing for my blog, or exploring new creative pursuits.

Welcome to my portfolio—an anthology of the projects, stories, and passions that fuel my work.
